Intinerary: Town – Sở Rẫy Platation

8:00am:  Start from visitors’ hotel to explore So Ray plantation and Ông Đụng beach. Hiking about 45 minutes, visitors will get the mountain at over 200m height. The surroundings is exciting with many kinds of trees which are the home for rich fauna and flora species in the rain tropical forest. Visitors can see and observe rare and endemic animals, such as: Con Dao Black Squirrel, ebony squirrel, Con Dao Long-tail monkey, Con Dao lizards,…. These make visitors fell very exciting.
8:45am:  At So Ray plantation, visitors learn some points about hitory of the name Sở Rẫy, visit the plantation which have many Con Dao rare and endemic trees. Sở Rẫy area was cultivated hardly by the political prisoners in French colonialism. In 2002, this place was planted and recovered the flora species after a typhoon damage in 1997.  Here, Con Dao National Park was sucessful to research the endemic Con Dao long tail monkey with many of them come back the Plantation to find food everyday.
Standing at the hight point, visitors can enjoy the Côn Đảo town, Côn Sơn bay with small islands far away. Take some photographs and get information about Côn Đảo from guide.
